OK… I’m feeling special today. I officially have a Google PageRank. I don’t exactly know when it happened, but I noticed it today. I have a page rank of 3 of 10. I’ll take it! :-)

In other news, I have signed on with AmericanIdolist.com as a co-blogger. Please come on over and check us out. Sign up for the RSS and feed your AI addiction. (heehee)

And finally, I wanted to share a recipe with you all. I’m not sure how it happened, but I am now officially addicted to brussel sprouts. Yes… I can hear you screaming in horror. I know… I know… I hated brussel sprouts ever since I was a child. This recipe changed my mind! Here ya go - it is super simple.

  1. Trim stems off fresh brussel sprouts and cut in half.
  2. Heat some olive oil and a little butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. When pan and oil is hot, place brussel sprouts in pan - cut side down.
  4. Cover pan and reduce heat to medium-low. Let them cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, with an occasional shake of the pan (just enough to move the brussel sprouts around.. not enough to actually flip them).
  5. They are done when they are soft. Remove the pan from heat and add salt and pepper to taste. Add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and you are done.
  6. Devour them.

These brussel sprouts turn nutty and flavorful. They are AMAZING!

I’m hoping that you will all try this recipe and come back to tell me you loved it!

Do you have a recipe that you just love? (Brussel sprout or otherwise). Share it please.

Have a great weekend.
